One of the first new sections to be developed is the members only area. The section will be user id and password protected to keep non members out. This way more sensitive information can be discussed and protected.

Some of the items I’m placing in the protected areas are the more current Draught Notice’s of less than three months old. As I receive the new Draught Notice, I will convert it as quickly as possible so members can see it. The previous four month old article then get removed from the protected area to the mass of surfers.

I’ve got a lot of ideas of members only stuff to put online but want to get feedback from the membership first. I’ve made the process of getting your own password and login name for the members only area relatively painless. Integrated into the sign-up process is a survey to give me an idea of what you want in your club webpage. Please take the time to fill out the survey because its the only way m going to know want I should be doing with my time. All results will be kept confidential. If there’s enough interests in the results of the survey, I may post the totals for each answer after the due date of December 1^st. Who voted for what of course will be absent.

In order to sign up for the members only area, follow these directions:

1)Point your browsers to http://www.dnai.com/~thor/dboard/index.htm

2)Click on the Members only button on the left hand side.

3)Under user name type: newmemb

under password type: ******

When the new member section comes up, please fill in all the information and press the "Submit" button when done. Please note under user id and password, it want to know what you want your new password to be not the "newmemb" password you used to get there in the first place. The "newmemb" userid and password will be deleted on December 1^st so don’t put this off!
