NCHF Details

by  Mike Winslow

Now that the brews are a Fermenting..............

It's time for your club to check out.......

The NCHF CLUB GUIDE

Setup & Tables

Every Club will have a serving table. The tables will have a sign with your clubs' name on it. Don't change your sign/table with others!! The tables will be 6 feet long, booth space can be bigger (!) and can be dressed up any way you see fit!

Bring all your club paraphenalia: Banners, Bars, Flags, Taps, canopies, gizmos, lights, neons, umbrellas, grass shacks, Nitrogen taps.....whatever.

Even though ICE WILL be provided, each club will be
responsible for their own taps, ice container, CO2, etc.

Be prepared and bring extra everything.

Don't forget the Extra Keg and fittings for WATER.
Carbon Filtered water will be provided for each club to fill a keg for their table. This will be for washing glasses, hands, and even for drinking. Keep it on ice!

Clubs might want to not forget papertowels/pitchers/
dump buckets!

The Fest grounds will be open for "Table/Booth setup only" at about 7:00 - 7:30 am, Saturday.

Clubs should be done with setup by 9:45.
It's gonna get crazy at 10:00, when the Festival opens. Those staying Friday night will probably get first crack at setting up.

If your club has a "Show Booth" you should consider setting most of it up on Friday.

Serving

Plan on having someone to man your table throughout the festival.
An unmanned keg of home brew at a homebrew
festival.................Dangerous!

All ticket holders will receive an 8 oz. Fest glass and a wrist band. These glasses are to be filled to 2 - 3 ounces, to permit many samples of different beers. Leeway can, of course, be given if an attendee determines that he has found Nirvana in a glass and would like a fill.

Usually reserved for 3 pm and afterwards.
The glass is full at 8 oz., with no headspace.

NO WRIST BAND-NO BEER!

RV's

RV's will enter through far EAST Gate
(End of the road at Imola & 4th).

Campers

Campers will enter through the "Parking gate" and will recieve a camping ticket for their car window. Campers will be directed to the camping area.

Camping areas will be divided up by CLUB AREAS.
Please camp in your clubs area. We have designated Club areas, so you can be with friends and meet new ones along the way.

Security

Security will be tight!
There will be security guards present. Their job is to assist anyone who becomes bothersome, off the premises. Otherwise they will be friendly.

You will receive a wrist band at registration.
Don't lose it!

NO BAND-NO BEER!

Those are the fest rules. If someone gets "OUT OF HAND" security will remove the wrist band and your drinking day is OVER!

"Out of hand, means loss of band."

Club Sales

It's show and TELL, not show and SELL. If you or anyone in your Club wants to sell brewing equipment or commercial items, they will be asked to purchase a vendors table. It's only fair to the paying vendors.

General (Approx.) Schedule

Remember: It's a Home Brew Festival!!

Thanks,
Mike Winslow
